  A researcher and a member of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Nigeria. He holds a B.Sc (2010) and M.Sc (Medical Biochemistry) degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). He joined the services of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka as Assistant Lecturer in 2015; rose to the post of Lecturer II in 2016. His core research interest is on the biochemical and toxicological evaluation of natural products with antidiabetic, antioxidant, anticancer and hepatoprotective properties. This is with a view to developing lead drug molecules that can be used in the management of diabetes, dyslipidemia, heart related disease and other degenerative diseases.    
AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION: Biochemical/toxicological evaluation of natural products with bias inplants with antidiabetic, antioxidant, anticancer and hepatoprotective properties.
