ABOUT ME: |
Pharmacist Florence Nwakaego Mbaoji is a lecturer and a researcher in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She joined the services of the University in 2009 as assistant lecturer and currently rose to the rank of lecturer I. In terms of qualifications, she had two Degree certificates in Biochemistry (B.Sc. (BCH) in 1998 and Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) in 2006 and Master Degree Certificate in Pharmacology and Toxicology in 2011. She is currently pursuing her PhD Programme in the same Department. She is highly engaged in teaching, supervising and advisory roles in the Department. She had taught different aspects of physiology, biochemistry and pharmacology curricula to pharmacy students and had successfully supervised 24 B. Pharm projects works. She had attended and presented papers both at international and local conferences and equally attended workshops and trainings which include Leadership Training workshop, Integrated and Organ System Pharmacology workshop, Drug Discovery and Development workshop and Practical Biostatistics course etc. Pharm Florence has authored and co-authored many research articles published in international and local journals of high repute. She is happily married with children.

Pharm. Florence had worn several awards some of which include · 2010 Nigeria-Sao Tome and Principe Joint Development Authority Award to support in procuring some consumables for my Master Degree Programme, · 2010 Innovators of Tomorrow Grant of STEP-B Project, Fed. Min. of Education, Nigeria for some equipment procurement for my Master Degree programme · Institutional – Based Research Fund from Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), Federal Government of Nigeria, 2016 to support part of my PhD work.
